Commercial Solar LED Park & Playground Lighting
The solar powered LED park & playground light systems we offer at SEPCO produce efficient lighting for various applications with no need for a standard utility power connection. These solar LED light systems deliver significant cost savings over standard electrical lighting and avoid the need for excavating trenches to install standard electrical wires. Our experienced team of engineers has designed solar LED lighting for children’s playgrounds, parks, boat ramps, pavilions, and other outdoor areas.

A self-contained solar power assembly is included with every SEPCO commercial solar-powered system. Each power assembly is designed alongside your lighting system to meet your requirements. We design each LED solar street light system based on the quantity of power the fixture requires and the amount of sunlight available at the installation site. The system includes a battery backup that supplies at least five days of autonomy for extended battery life while also considering local weather conditions.
Our solar power assembly systems are available from 30 to 550 Watts with batteries that range from 36Ah to 662Ah. Power usage and output can then be controlled on-site with systems set according to the designated operation profile. A solar specialist from our team set up this profile during the analysis of the project. The selection of the solar system and battery is based on the load requirement for a set period and allows for sufficient backup power to account for periods of inclement weather.
We offer various LED fixture styles, ranging from architectural style fixtures to standard “cobra head” fixtures. The solar LED light fixtures we provide deliver the required level of lighting and distribution pattern that gives you the ideal lighting solution for your applications. Several of our solar light fixtures feature FWC, Dark Sky, and Turtle Friendly options which are ideal for many recreation facilities and parks.
The arms on our light fixtures include everything from the long upsweep side of pull brackets to short straight arms. Our pole designs take into account the structural integrity required to meet local wind load design requirements and also the overall commercial streetlight aesthetics of the system.
